Air traffic controllers must be able to multitask and think on their feet to keep up with all the information they receive from pilots and other sources.

Air traffic controllers earn an annual salary of $113,470 or more, according to CareerCast. They also receive benefits such as paid vacation time and health insurance coverage in addition to a retirement plan for them and their families. The national average is $103,500 for the upcoming year and profits from the overall health of the company. Someone just starting in the field can expect to earn $76K. The typical max sits at around $133K and as I said, someone can continue to make more money if they stay within their salary and don’t take extreme risks with their money.

Petroleum Engineer Salaries:

Petroleum Engineer Salaries:

Our oil-based engineers have a great entry-level income if you are around $86,000. The average salary for a petroleum engineer nationally is $109,620, and the top earning amount (again it does vary) has a national average of $150,000. The first step toward becoming a pilot is applying to an airline academy. These programs are offered by many different airlines and usually require an associate degree or comparable education before entering training.

After finishing training, you must complete a number of other requirements before being licensed as a commercial pilot.

The job outlook for architectural and engineering managers is excellent. Job opportunities in this field will increase faster than average from 2014 to 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS).

Architectural managers typically earn salaries between $74,000 and $128,000 per year. Engineering managers earn salaries between $63,000 and $109,000 per year.

Dentist:

Dentist:

When it comes to money, the top three positions on this list are all associated with the medical field. More education and field experience is typically required over other positions, although each field on this list requires very specific educational degrees. As for a dentist, the average dentist makes $133,780 per year. However, if you possess an advanced degree or have some significant experience in a certain area of dentistry, you can earn far more than that. Also on the list for highest entry-level salaries is a medical technologist who earns about $50K annually.

Surgeons:

Surgeons:

Surgeons make way more money than other medical professionals. These top two positions have, far and away, the highest wages. A surgeon has an average, national salary of $355,800 going into next year. Those doctors just starting as surgeons make $250,900 while the top-of-the-line surgeons in terms of money making bring in just under $500,000. Of course, there are specialist surgeons who are in more demand and can make over $1 million, although that does just vary by location.

Anesthesiologists:

Anesthesiologists:

The top position is an anesthesiologist. These individuals may not perform the actual surgery, but they need to take into account all sorts of factors when creating the drug combination designed to put people under during surgery. With that being said, the median starting salary is actually lower than surgeons at $261,600. However, the median average is actually higher than surgeons at $351,300. In terms of the top amount, this varies more so than almost any other medical position. It depends on where someone works and what kind of medical facility or practice. Anesthesiologists do not typically run their own practice but are in high demand in different medical settings. The standard top-of-the-line is right around $450,000 though there are fewer anesthesiologists than surgeons and one who is in high demand can bring in a significant amount more than an actual surgeon. Do keep in mind though that, in the medical field, the salaries are higher because of high insurance costs. So that is one reason why.
